These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Warranty Painting website and any painting services provided by Warranty Painting ("we", "us", or "our"), operating in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Estimates & Quotes

Online estimates generated through this website are indicative only. A binding written quote is provided after an on-site assessment. The final price is agreed upon in writing before any work begins. No work will start without a signed agreement.

2. Scope of Work

The scope of every project is defined in your written quote. Work not included in the agreed scope (e.g., repairs, additional rooms, colour changes mid-project) will be quoted separately and require written approval before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in your project agreement. Typically, a deposit is required before work starts, with the balance due upon project completion and final walkthrough approval. Accepted payment methods are outlined in your agreement.

4. Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our work. Our workmanship warranty covers defects in application — peeling, blistering, or significant fading — that result from our work under normal conditions.

• Warranty duration varies by project type and materials used (up to 10 years on select projects)
• Warranty is provided in writing at project completion
• Warranty does not cover damage from physical impact, moisture intrusion, structural movement, or customer-supplied materials
• Warranty is non-transferable unless otherwise specified in writing

5. Client Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely access to work areas
• Remove or protect personal belongings prior to work starting (or approve our protection service)
• Ensure pets are secured away from work areas
• Be available (or designate a contact) for the final walkthrough

6. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start date incur no penalty. Cancellations within 48 hours may result in a cancellation fee as specified in your agreement. Scope changes requested after work has started may affect both cost and timeline.

7. Website Use

The content on this website — including text, images, and tools — is for informational purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use our content commercially without written permission. The colour visualizer tool is provided as-is for estimation purposes only; on-screen colour representation may differ from actual paint results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Warranty Painting's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
